Description
Garbage re-furbishing in Tokyo. Japan is a challenging place to find garbage. It's streets are mostly squeaky clean. Even on garbage day the trash is bundled tightly, discouraging dumpster divers. Culled from scant garbage outcasts (picked illegally very early in the morning), these constructions respond to drawings that I made every 2'45" while looking down the street ... at the same spot every day...at the Youkobo Artspace residency studio. |
